    Description

    Lake Ngāpouri is a small lake in the high country near the thermal region of Waiotapu. Its catchment is now dominated by pasture. Traditionally this lake was valued as a mahinga kai (food bowl) site for Ngāti Tahu-Ngāti Whaoa.
