The lakes of Golden Bay, Tasman

This video showcases some of the first lakes the Lakes380 team visited in Golden Bay.

Stony Tarn

A short video of Stony Tarn, a small high country  lake nestled above Lake Tekapo.

Lake Waitahora

A short video showing the dune lake, Lake Waitahora which is New Zealands most northern lake.

Lake Waiporohita

This short video shows a fly over of Lake Waiporohita, a small dune lake in Northland.

Lake Von

This short video shows a fly over of Lake Von. Lake Von  is a small high country lake situated in the Von River Valley south of Lake Wakatipu.

Lake Troup

A short but spectacular video of Lake Troup. Lake Troup is a small alpine lake situated to the west of Lake Manapouri in Fiordland National Park.

Lake Rototai

The first lake the Lakes380 team sampled. This short video shows sampling on the beautiful Lake Rototai.

Lake Rotorua (Kaikoura)

Lake Rotorua is a small lowland lake, close to the township of Kaikoura. This video shows the lake during a cyanobacteria bloom.

Lake Peel

This short video shows the beautiful Lake Peel. Lake Peel is an alpine lake in the Peel Range above the Cobb Reservoir in the Kahurangi National Park.

Duncan Tarn

A short flight over this amazing alpine tarn. Duncan Tarn lies among a series of alpine lakes in the ranges west of Lake Pukaki.

Lake Ngakeketo

Lake Ngakeketo is a dune lake situated in the far north of New Zealand. 

Lake Lockett

This video shows a fly over and the team sampling on the stunning Lake Lockett. Lake Lockett is a deep alpine lake on the slopes of Mt Lockett above the Cobb Reservoir in the Kahurangi National Park.

Lake Johnson / Waipuna

Waipuna / Lake Johnson is a small relatively shallow lake near Queenstown. This short video shows a fly over of the lake.

Lake Hayes / Waiwhakaata

A short video of the team sampling Waiwhakaata / Lake Hayes, a eutrophic lake near Queenstown.

Irishman Tarn

A short video of the amazing Irishman Tarn. This lake lies in the ranges west of Lake Pukaki. 

Lake Heron / Ōtūroto

Ōtūroto (Lake Heron) is a large, glacial formed, highland lake in the upper Rakaia River catchment. This short video shows the team sampling the lake on a magic spring morning.

Hartley Tarn
