Lake Rotongaio

Lake Rotongaio is a lowland lake system located east of Lake Taupo and north of Napier. The lake covers 9.3 hectares and has a maximum depth of 52 m. The lake has high cultural significance for local iwi such as Tuwharetoa tribe (source teara.govt.nz).

Lake Rotonuiaha

Lake Rotonuiaha is the largest lowland lake system in a cluster of lakes, located east of Lake Taupo and north of Napier. The lake covers 43.8 hectares, has a maximum depth of 29.2 m and sits at an elevation of 275 m.

Lake Rotoroa (Hawkes Bay)

Lake Rotoroa is a small lowland system in a cluster of lakes, located east of Lake Taupo and north of Napier. The lake covers 14.6 hectares, has a maximum depth of 16.2 m and sits at an elevation of 315 m.
